I've been looking at the 340 cipher for the past week or so to notice any patterns in the symbols used.

In the solved 408 cipher there were patterns with letters, for example he used 2 symbols for the letter 'L', but always alternated between the two (e.g. symbol 1 was always followed by symbol 2, two of the same symbols were never repeated before the other symbols were used).

So I've made a few discoveries, not sure if they've been found before but here -

These two symbols almost certainly represent the same letter (I'll call them M and J just because they look like that). This is because throughout the entire 340 cipher, an M is never followed by another M before a J is found. There are 14 M's and J's overall and it goes in the form JMJMJMJMJMJMJM. So it's almost certain that they represent the same letters.
